My longest flight! (Tokyo - London backwards).

This was my longest flight I’ve ever done, saw 2 sunsets in the process

Route: RJTT - EGLL \ cruising ALT: (step climb) 35,000ft - 37,000ft - 41,000ft\ cruising speed: mach 0.84 - 0.85 \ flight time: 19:15

Enjoy!

Must have took a longer route than what would expect but yes it shouldn’t be more than 12hrs either direction

Yes i did, you can see i flew over San Francisco an New York

I’m not surprised, every one i tell does

I flew eastwards

that explains it :)

Yes well, that’s a very unusual route in RL for sure!
I have to do that route one day. To go east rather than west! You should put amend title backwards to east route lol

It was actually kinda fun! I could’ve gone further east because i still had 5 hours of fuel

Plus Boeing did a similar flight with the 77L in the mid 2000’s

Oh did they? Unnecessary pollution and wasted fuel😤

No, to show of its range

Show off its range? Could have chosen another route cos airliners are not going to use that route in RL, could tried Perth to London tbf but I understand sometimes its not practical to fly to Perth and focus on Tokyo since its much closer to Seattle where Boeing manufacture the 777s

Amazing pictures
