Greetings IFC! Today I will be performing a bit of a lengthy flight, as follows:
Aeroflot operates a non-stop flight, SU 629, from Phuket (HKT) to Saint Petersburg (LED), typically using an Airbus A330-300. The flight covers approximately 4,975 miles (about 8,006 kilometers) and takes around 10 hours and 55 minutes to 11 hours and 5 minutes, depending on conditions. This route is offered two to three times per week, with strong on-time performance—about 81% of the flights arrive punctually. The Airbus A330-300 used on this route is well-suited for long-haul travel. Incidentally, this is my longest flight which I’ve operated on the A330, as I am aware of the A330’s sluggish climb characteristics at higher weights.

Pushback from the stand
Takeoff from runway 09, beginning a shallow ascent to cruising altitude due to the aircraft being very heavy today
Reached the initial cruise of FL320
8 hours later ascended to FL390, however had to dump some fuel prior to descent to maintain a landing weight below MLW value
Descending over the suburbs of St. Petersburg
On final approach
Usual butter landing, with rather heavy braking to reach the nearest exit
Taxiing to the stand, as LED is also not 3D yet
Disembarking the A330
Well everyone! Welcome to St. Petersburg, and hope you enjoyed viewing the images. Feel free to suggest more A330 or A319 routes from the aeroflot group as I do specialize in those flights.
