Hello!
Today, I was approaching runway 25L at KLAX, but during my approach I’ve seen that my Glide Slope was… “bugging”.
Why the triangle is that high? Shouldn’t is be at the level of the rectangle?

2NM you should be at about 600ft so you should be on glide slope more or less. Weird…
More or Less, what is it?
If it’s ok with you I moved it to bugs and changed the title :)
Rule over the thumb:
Standard 3degree ILS Approach you should lose 300ft/NM:
1NM - 300ft
5NM - 1500ft
10NM - 3000ft
That’s why I said more or less. It definitly shouldn’t be that much off. I’m gonna try it now.
Edit: Checked it now. It works fine. I still have the feeling you were slighty too low. Just try again :)
Okay, thanks for your help!

You are definitely just too low. Should be around 175feet higher. The indicators are more sensitive the closer you get
Think you mixed too high and too low. Should be the opposite.

@Aviation no, @divebuddha is correct. You ‘follow the needle’ - if the needle is near the top, your aircraft is too low and you need to ‘follow the needle’ and ultimately be higher to be aligned with the needle…
Yes, but it’s connected with PAPI lights, which meaning is similar.
edit: Saw that you’re right, with the needle, in the screenshot. Normally if you’re perfectly on the glide slope, that would change.

I think often PAPI
