My Kuwait Airways Journey to London — KU103 & KU102 
I wanted to share some photos and memories from my recent Kuwait Airways trip between Kuwait and London Heathrow!
It was a really memorable trip, especially getting to do some plane spotting at Heathrow and seeing the aircraft that would eventually take me back home.

KU103 — Kuwait → London Heathrow
Flight: KU103
Route: OKKK → EGLL
Departure: 5:05 AM — Kuwait
Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER — 9K-AOL
Flight time: 6h 18min
Arrival runway: 27R — London Heathrow
The journey started early in the morning from Kuwait International Airport. After departing Kuwait at 5:05 AM, it was a smooth flight toward London.

After 6 hours and 18 minutes, we finally arrived at London Heathrow and landed on Runway 27R.
Arrival at LHR:
7th August 2026
After spending my time in London, it was finally time to head back home to Kuwait.

Plane Spotting at London Heathrow
While I was in London, I also got the chance to do some plane spotting at Heathrow.
Qatar Airways flying back to Doha:
Seeing all the different aircraft and airlines arriving and departing was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
But then I spotted something very familiar… 
9K-AOJ arriving at Heathrow!
I spotted 9K-AOJ, a Kuwait Airways Boeing 777-300ER, landing at Heathrow.
And the best part?
This was the exact aircraft that would take me back to Kuwait! 
It was really cool seeing my return aircraft arrive while I was plane spotting, knowing that I’d be flying on it later that day.

And of course, the aircraft was 9K-AOJ, the same aircraft I had spotted landing at Heathrow earlier!

After 5 hours and 36 minutes in the air, we arrived back home in Kuwait. 
Final thoughts
Overall, this was an amazing Kuwait Airways journey. From the early morning departure on KU103, to arriving at Heathrow, plane spotting at LHR, seeing 9K-AOJ arrive, and then actually flying that same aircraft back home on KU102 — it made the trip even more special.
