What device are you on?
What part is taking long, launching IF or pressing fly?
Are you on WIFI or Cellular?

Usually when that happens I reinstall the app and it always works

Are you using a 6s, because I’ve been having a whole host of problems after the latest iOS updates, including IF not booting up correctly.

Are you stuck on the loading screen?
How much free storage space do you have?
Have you rebooted your device?

Some have had success in resetting their device network settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.Be sure you know any saved network passwords before doing this!

Also what do you mean by “too long” it is normal for it to take a moment or two…

Are you using a VPN by chance?
Have you tried the device network reset?
Can you try another wifi network? Neighbor/friend/coffee shop. It could be something on your home network.
You can do a speed test to see how strong your connection is?

It is just the the game that is not working it was working last week but not working any more

Has there been any change to your network router? Updates, firewall changes, etc?

You even tried a different network with the same result?

What is your internet speed? Can you go to speedtest.net and do a speed test please and share the result? You can cross out any identifying information.

That still has not worked

I had the same issue, what I did was delete the app and then reinstall it. After that it worked like a charm after updating the navigation base. Then all you have to do is log back in and you’re good.
