So yesterday I went to Pier Seven aviation in Sharjah, link for their website https://p7aviation.com/. I flew the A320 and did some touch and go’s at OMDB, here are some photos
And also I have some video footage but I can’t upload it here sadly. I also have now logged an official hour in an Airbus A320!
Looks almost like my flight simulator at home replaced with a yoke and throttle 🥲
I’d really like to try one of those full-motion flight sims though that they use to train pilots.
All you gotta do is find somewhere in your area! This was an hour from my house as well, the down side is for me it cost 1,100 AED
They have a fighter sim at Seattle museum of flight but it only has weapon stick and side stick for flying lol
Thank you for posting! Yeah, I went there and it wasn’t that best, I definitely prefer the actual flight sims
@Toby172 I know this is no FFS but I found this in Sydney if you wanna check it out Flight Experience Australia
90 min B737 expirience, ( FNPT ) and it is 90 mins for $395 ( Aussie dollars )
Beats my laptop and joystick setup!
There used to be one at Mumbai International Airport VABB Terminal 2 domestic departure terminal (airside). I tried it out about 2 years ago. A 737-800 with some features disabled. They give you various options to fly at any non-Indian airport. I flew around OMDB for about 30 mins. I found it difficult to fly in cockpit mode without HUD the first time as it takes a while to get used to the sensitivity of the controls. Of course they have a co-pilot who helps.
It was about 20 USD. At the end, they give you a certificate to make you happy
Am going to travel tomorrow. If I reach the airport early & If it’s there, I would love to try it out again. For us non-aviation guys, these are the only options. 😀
It’s still fun but Real life trainers I am guessing are more fun I am actually on my way to the museum of flight RN lol
That looks awesome! Hope you had fun!
