Alright, so I was im on a flight from Frankfurt to LAX aboard Condor a330-900 and I look how my “fuel remaining” and it says I only have 11 hours left when I put 16 hours in my weight and balance before departure I don’t know if this a headwind issue or a glitch can someone help me out?
Are you still on a climb? Until you get to your cruise altitude it won’t give a realistic fuel remaining as you’ll be burning more fuel climbing
It should show more fuel once the aircraft is at cruise and is cleaned up.
I arrived at my cruising altitude and it still shows I have less fuel then what I put in it’s still sufficient but it’s less then what I put in. I remember putting atleast 16 hours worth of fuel.
On descent you may make up some of that fuel.
Ok thanks for your help!
The plane will use more engine power which will automatically use more fuel. That happens if you’re too heavy for your cruising altitude or if there’s a strong headwind. I will advise checking the aircraft’s load and climbing profiles before going airborne.
