My first time flying a real aircraft!

Yesterday, I flew a light aircraft for the first time!

I flew a Diamond DA36TTC out of Enstone Airfield, Oxfordshire. Whilst the pilot executed probably the smoothest takeoff and landing I’ve ever experienced, I flew most of the rest.

Our flight took us over the west side of Banbury and up over RAF Gaydon and Wellesbourne Airfield before turning back by Stratford-upon-Avon.

Being my first time in any light aircraft I felt quite sick as the temperature in the cockpit reached 111F around 2700ft.

However, it was an overall amazing experience and a step towards my dream of becoming a pilot myself.

If you’re British… speak British 😂 what’s this in Celsius?

Are you planning on learning to take this further and fly?
