My first spotting topic! Cold and Beautiful @ PANC

Hey guys!

It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then, my parents will stop at the airport (PANC) to let me watch a couple of planes. Today was one of those days.

So, without further ado, here are my pictures! (they might be a little crusty compared to a pro camera because I only had my iPhone SE, which actually is still good.)

The first catch of the day (probably my favorite), a UPS 747-8 rotates off of RWY 33

The second, an Alaska 737-800 blasts off to Seattle

The third and last, the mighty FedEx 777 and its GE-90s blast out to Memphis.

A FedEx MD-11 recieves de-icing treatment before heading to Indianapolis.

I hope you liked my photos! I plan on saving for a real camera sometime soon.

Let me know which one was your favorite!

Anchorage is a wonderful place to spot at. The sunset complimented it so well.

I actually got each of these on video, so the videos are a lot better and more crisp and clean.

Well the iPhone SE did seem to manage the conditions well. Nice backdrop!

You took those on an SE!? I would struggle to take some of those on my DSLR 😂

Wow, thank you!

The videos are much smoother, and these pictures are screenshots taken from those videos.

Again, thanks!

Alaska mountains are the best. No doubt about it. You get a free backdrop to anything you want (especially planespotting)!

That sounds like someone letting the dog into the backyard to play lol

Hahaha, exactly!

You should’ve seen me get out of the car before it completely stopped! The UPS 747 was about to rotate, so I had to get out, climb the hill, then get my camera ready just in time for rotation. It was awesome.

Just like a dog getting out to play now that I think about it 😂
