My First Passenger Flight

Today was the day. Well, yesterday lol. I flew my first flight with passengers aboard. I fly for SeaAir in the Cessna 208 Caravan, with pontoons. Harbor Air does island hopping, and I flew from Nanaimo to Vancouver. It was a short 15 minute hop cruising at 1000 feet with 4 people on board.

On the ground! I mean…water! Thanks to all who have been a part of this journey and thanks to IF for helping me learn to love aviation! See ya in the next one!

That’s pretty sick! Nice Photos!

How was the landing… On Water?

Butter. Landing on water is pretty easy because the pontoons just sink right in. Very little flare is required too lol

When did you get hired? Looks like a good job

I got hired about a month ago, went through some final training, and got to fly yesterday. It’s a really great job though!

Man I wished I had some dreams like yours, where I become a pilot. They would be fun!

How long did your CPL course take?

About 2 months or so

I’ve got a question. You’ve got pictures sitting in the right seat flying. But the pictures of the wing view are taken a seat behind the pilot seats.

So either you got up in flight when you were at the controls or you’re lying…
