My first new years flight, Sacremento(KSMF) - San Diego(KSAN)

Date: 1/1/2025
Plane: Frontier A321
Gate: Gate 14
Cruising altitude: 32000ft
Cruising speed: Mach 0.81
Server: Solo

My first new years flight on IF, it’s my first flight without a rough landing/missed approach.

flight path (I only took a screenshot at San Diego as I forgot to do it before departure) Sorry to mods if I’m not allowed to post it.

departure from Sacremento heading down the west coast for San Diego

climbing to cruising altitude of 32200ft

After 1h 2min in the air, I armed VNAV and began the descent into san diego, I had aligned the aircraft absolutely well during this flight and maintained fairly good descent and speed control, despite the late landing on runway 27.

Following the rather smooth landing, we exited via the end of the runway and began a short taxi to terminal 1 gate 14 where we parked and the jetbridges were attached. This marks the end of my first new years flight on infinite flight, it’s a milestone.

Once again, happy new year to all. This is my first topic so I hope you guys enjoyed it.

(I’ve edited this post as I forgot to crop the interfaces out, sorry it’s my first post and mistakes have been rectified)

Nice shots! …But why were you cruising at M.81 💀

umm, is that too fast? I’m a new pilot so I’m not too familiar, I thought it’s fine as long as I don’t trigger the overspeed alarm(which I did several times) 😅

Yeah that’s a bit fast… A220/A320/B737/E175 family aircraft usually cruise around M.78 for efficiency.

I see, I used to think M0.79 was TOO SLOW omg 💀

Happy New Year and nice photos! Flying into SAN is always awesome. My first flight of the new year was DFW-LGA at an event with @Oklahoma1 @kadengg @adam_2tuff and others

Uh @randompilot328, if you’re gonna be posting shots among your first New Years Flight, that would go in the Screenshots and Videos category where no huds, interfaces, displays, etc, is allowed. But nice photos
