Just went for a flight on a replica Boeing 737-800 cockpit today. I did a flight from KLGA - KJFK and did one touch and go, and then a full stop landing at KJFK, then went and did a touch and go and then a full stop landing at YMML.
Then I tried the Kai Tak (VHHX) approach, and I’m happy to say that I nailed it! The instructor said that I ‘made it look easy!’
Has cemented by love in Aviation even more now, and my next step is my PPL!
But haven’t you been playing Infinite Flight??
Good job on the Kai Tak approach! But apparently that’s too easy… Maybe you need a harder airport, such as Lukla!
That’s 100% my plan! Spoke to the instructor about it!
Not sure if a Boeing 737-800 can land at Lukla! 😜

I went to a simulator in Cambridge, England in a 737, did a single engine landing, my instructor was impressed 😂
I went to that simulator as well! Except I did patterns at TNCM and then flew the approach into VHHX. It was awesome!
