My day at Schiphol

This is a report of my day at Schiphol I got an invite to come! Have fun Reading.

First I got my visitor card at Schiphol east.

When I walked in the hangar I saw this beast! 747-400 It is great to see How they work on it

Then I got to see the inside and the cockpit it was great to see where the crew is sleeping.

Last I was going to a cabin sim where the crew gets trained.

Thanks for Reading and feel free to qeustion me things!

Awesome! The 747 is by far my favourite widebody!

What was that remove before flight sign in the cockpit ?

Remove before flight is a safety warning often seen on removable aircraft and spacecraft components, typically in the form of a red ribbon, to indicate that a device, such as a protective cover or a pin to prevent the movement of mechanical parts, is only used when the aircraft is on the ground (parked or taxiing). On small general aviation aircraft, this may include a pitot tube cover or a control lock. The warning appears in English only. Similar ribbons labelled pull to arm or similar are found on missiles and other weapon systems that are not mounted on aircraft.
In some cases, non-removal of a labelled part has caused airplane crashes, like that of Aeroperú Flight 603.
It is common to see key rings, T-shirts, bag tags, belts and other such products with this ribbon, especially for people who work in aviation or aviation enthusiasts.

Yeah, I know, it’s Wikipedia.

If I had to guess, because there are clips on it, it would be to hang papers and documents approving it is good for flight.

The one in the cockpit is just to hang information of the aircraft there (incase something happend with the plane)
