My atc is so bugged and im mad

I dont know what the heck is going on. I was doing a normal flight from geneva to heathrow and even though there was no atc it didnt let me connect. I was able to make calls to the traffic frequency aswell as receive calls from the atc (The typical “you are in an active airport” call) the EGLL did NOT show at my atc thingy and I belive i got a violation issued aswell. Please tell me this was just a 1 time bug as Im RIGHT NOW descendnig to orlando and I’m gonna be really mad if this happens again.

Mine is that I can connect to the frequency but I don’t hear the ATC/UNICOM voice

A hotfix addressing this issue is being prepared.
Please bear with us a little longer.

ATC is aware as well, so you don’t have to worry about violations and or ranks.

Alright just know im passing 20k feet rn for portland and still not connected to any frequency

Could you tell the atc to give me the call maybe I’m too far? But yesterday at heathrow I touched down with no connections

That probably won’t work because the system isn’t able to handle certain communications correctly at the moment.

But i took off from mineapolis connected to the traffic. Completely normally. Im in approach for portland rn and I cant hear anything.

That’s the issue the hotfix will be addressing.
Until then, it won’t work as expected.

Well as I was flying i just got scared this would happen again so I said if we can get a solution lets get it now
and we did… let’s just say i didnt screw up the landing though cuz it was a BIT of a tailstrike

I’m currently experiencing the same issue right now as I’m approaching RCTP. I keep getting the message to contact approach frequency, but I’m unable to see any active ATC or join

Hi,

I have the same problem. Yesterday I was landing at KLAX and I leave the game afraid to receive a violation.

So if I understood well, if we can’t connect to the tower we wouldn’t be reported.

The hot fix was released and I’m still experiencing the ATC bug. I just got a level 2 violation because of it. Are IF staff and ATC controllers not aware that this is still an issue?

To not have this issue occur, everyone needs to be using the latest version that includes the hotfix.
Unfortunately it will take some time before everyone has updated the app.
After that it should be fine.
