My Airbus A330-200 adventure!

Infinite Flight 26.1 has officially dropped and along with surprisingly, the Airbus A330-200. This aircraft has been heavily requested as there are many A330 operators who mostly or even ONLY operate the A332. One of those examples is Aerolíneas Argentinas and now we have some wide body representation of them to fly long haul with properly! Good for the upcoming flight between Miami, FL :palm_tree::clinking_glasses: and Cordoba, ARG :argentina:ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup :soccer_ball::trophy::globe_showing_americas: Today however, we will not be heading down to Argentina :argentina: nor fly Aerolíneas. We will instead fly Wamos, a charter airline based in Madrid, ESP :spain: as charter flights are always fun to do especially when flying to more exotic destinations. The United States :united_states: has also lifted restrictions on flights to and from Venezuela :venezuela: back in January and American Airlines plans to serve both Caracas and Maracaibo with the former possibly as soon as April 30th. I also have a small unwritten rule when I play Infinite Flight which is I don’t revisit a flight for at least a month say I fly from MIA to New York JFK, that means I don’t fly that route again for a month, I know I’m pretty weird right. With that rule in mind, I cannot fly from the 305 :palm_tree::clinking_glasses: but what I can do instead is fly from Fort Lauderdale :palm_tree::motor_boat: so let’s head to the 954 :palm_tree::motor_boat: and take the baby butter bus for a spin!

It’s a bright early morning here at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport’s terminal 4 concourse G, the terminal dedicated to international flights like this one. Wamos had just sent this EC-MAJ, a freshly 17 year old Airbus A330-200 which has had quite the history.

Lining up on RWY 10R at the crack of dawn :sunrise:

Bye, bye Fort Lauderdale! :palm_tree::motor_boat:

Ahoy Nassau, BHS! :bahamas: this new aircraft looks AWESOME and the new lighting just makes this much better, well done! :clap:

Haiti :haiti: down below with its capital of Port-au-Prince. I wonder when the US :united_states: will permit flights to the Haitian capital once again, probably not for a while however.

Aruba :aruba: in the distance along with the Guajira Peninsula in Colombia! :colombia:

For the first time 7 years, a flight originating in the US :united_states: is descending into Venezuela! :venezuela:

After a smooth descent along the Caribbean coast, we find ourselves on final approach for RWY 10L at CCS!

Welcome to Caracas, VEN! :venezuela: My first time on Venezuelan :venezuela: soil in about 3 years of playing Infinite Flight

Disembarking here at Caracas’s Simón Bolívar International Airport or just Maiquetía International Airport as this aircraft is serviced for the next group to fly back home to Madrid, ESP! :spain:

That will be it regarding my first flight in the brand new Airbus A330-200 from Fort Lauderdale, FL :palm_tree::motor_boat: to Caracas, VEN :venezuela: with Wamos Air. Stay tuned for my trip to Palm Springs, CA tomorrow for a reason who probably know already. Also keep an eye out for American Airlines’s possible updates on their service to Venezuela :venezuela: as I hope to catch the inaugural flight from MIA to CCS and as always between now and the next time, see you in the sky! :wink::waving_hand:
