We are at Infinity Flight in Kuwait. We made a flight between Toronto-Canada Airport and John F. Kennedy-New York through a 747 aircraft with F-22 air force protection.

Any tips for escorting? I often have problems keeping up / not going too fast.
I have done this very often. Try to find out the aircraft’s altitude and speed. Copy his/her flight plan when necessary. I first climb to its altitude. Approach the aircraft with a higher speed than he/she has. When you’re getting very close you decrease your velocity to match with his/her speed. Adjust your speed to stay with the aircraft or turn autopilot on.

As you approach match their speed. Monitor their speed and increase yours slightly. Keep practicing aproach slowly, theres no rush to catch up. I start to slow down around 3nm away

Ask around, some might be willing to escort you. Other times, random guys decide to escort other people.
