I hope where all enjoying the new 25.1 update whether it be the new liveries, 3D airports quality of life changes or already made good use of the new Autopilot+, as for me I had a pretty good first flight with the new update. At first I was planning a traditional flight from Miami to Mexico City, Mexico
since it is Cinco de Mayo after all but news flash, 25.1 one released and brought in long awaited Montego Bay, Jamaica
so I shifted to that but in the end decided that is just do a flight with one of the new liveries and I remember almost 2 years ago I flew from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
to Cali, Colombia
on a generic Boeing 737-800 since we didn’t have the MAX8 which Arajet used and once the B38M did release, that livery was never to be found until now that is. Unfortunately, SDQ → CLO has since been cut but I opted to fly down to beautiful Medellín instead since it’s still Colombia and I always enjoy a flight into MDE whenever possible.
FLIGHT INFO:

Here is our ride to Antioquia this afternoon after arriving from Guatemala City, Guatemala!

Here is a view from passenger Issac who had started his journey from all the way in Jackson Hole, WY along with his pet bison because well every Wyoming Man needs his companion. Out the window you can spot another Arajet B737MAX8 heading out to Sint Maarten!
Bye bye, Santo Domingo!
Soon enough we reached our cruising altitude of 36,000ft above the Caribbean Sea and around now the flight attendants have just been released to conduct the onboard service
Fast forwarding a bit, we have arrived at the coast of South America at the Guajira Peninsula along with the border between Colombia

Soon enough, we began our approach into Medellín and moving to the left side with passenger Sammy who flew in from Minneapolis, MN witnessing this AMAZING view over the city’s El Poblado neighborhood along with the smaller Olaya Herrera Airport along the left downwind leg for MDEs runway 01!
Here is a sunshot

TOUCHDOWN! I’d like to welcome Issac, Sammy and everybody else to beautiful Medellín, Colombia!

Here is the last view of our aircraft which will be picked up by a new crew and will soon fly back home to Santo Domingo. We’re all quickly going through immigration

That will be it regarding this first 25.1 flight on the new Arajet Boeing 737MAX8 from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Medellín, Colombia
stay tuned for Friday as we (hopefully) start the new trip back down to South America and as always between now and the next time, see you in the sky!
