Hi, just wondering… I see we can only have 1 Virtual Airline set in our Profile.
If I am flying for 2 VAs (at different times) is it necessary to reset the VA in the profile each time I fly? I mean, does it matter for the records or the verifying of the VA flights, because I’m sure I’ll forget sometimes!
Yeah so far I’ve only been flying for Air Canada VA, so I’ve just left it set for them. I don’t think the ACVA staff have ever mentioned it apart from during the application when I asked for help to find that setting.
Now I want to join British Airways VA as well. Just thinking does it matter what the setting is left at after each flight (it has to be one or the other) and is it important to set it correctly before each VA flight…
Thanks for those responses, I’ll ask the VA staff about it 👍
You set it, and then it’ll show in-app. If you change it then it may take a couple minutes for the change to take effect in-app, and you may need to restart the app.
I’m in WestJet Virtual Group and I keep that as it’s my First and Best Virtual group . Also gave Most hours with them then Air Canada is my second VA being I Only started…LoL
Great, welcome to ACVA! My first flight for them was Vancouver to Kelowna, a lovely little route. But you can also do Ottowa to Halifax with 3D airports! I recommend both flights 🙂
Yep, I joined ACVA mainly to explore its scenic Q400 routes. Any of them out of Vancouver will not disappoint! Also I enjoy the Q400 flights from Halifax.
TBH a lot of the scenery inland from Toronto and Montreal, and around the Great Lakes, is a bit bland. But ACVA have loads of codeshare routes in Japan and China, so they are well worth working up the ranks for!
