I’m quite new to this, but I’ve recently encountered situations where there seem to be multiple controllers on one single frequency e.g. 2 Ground controllers. Is that meant to happen? It seems to me like it might be a bug, but I’m not sure since I’m quite new to this.
Yes it can happen at certain airports that are extremely busy like a north side ground and south side ground etc. I believe when it happened earlier it was accidental
This is kind of a glitch that happens way too frequently on TS especially in EGLL. The fact is that when you first change to the control or mode, nobody of that ATC slot is online, but a second later someone occupies that space and it doesn’t sync up immediately, therefore the problem start arising. It doesn’t update for a little while, and I don’t know why but this is something needed to be addressed in some way.
Welcome to the community. If it’s on expert, as was stated. Yes because some airports have multiple frequencies. If it’s on the training server, it means two people tried to open to control the same frequency ( i.e ground, tower etc) at the same time. Training server doesn’t have multiple ground frequencies. When this happens I usually just look at the map click on the airport and see which username is it there. If it’s not my username but the system says I’m the controller I just back out.
Yes this is what I would do as well
This is mainly for if an airport has so many arrivals, that 2 Approach frequencies will be needed (ie. Dubai during events).
And I forgot to say… but welcome to the community and I hope you will have a great time here and while flying in IF!
And welcome to the community!! See you in the skies (on expert server)
