I wanted to bring up some issues that I’ve been having. First, replay file corruptions happen so often recently compared to before, and at this point, that’s the first thing I’m worried about when I finish my flight. Also, my flight disconnects from infinite flight server frequently during mid-flight. Been playing this game for a while, and wanted to bring these up since they are happening so much more than before. I saw previous posts regarding this, but it didn’t relate to me since I’m on one of the latest IOS version, game is always updated. It would be great if the team could take a look at the issues!
I haven’t experienced any replay file corruptions myself except for those files form before the update, and I also haven’t had any random server disconnects either. Everything on my end is fully up to date as well and it’s been running fine for me so far. By the way, are you viewing your replays from flights after the latest update or from before the update? Just wondering if that could be related to the corruption issues.
Regarding the server disconnections, it might be worth checking with your internet provider, since IF staff have mentioned that the servers have been running without any downtime recently.
I was trying to view something that I flew on the same day, so yes very recently. The recent issues were all right after completing the flights.
Regarding the connection, the moment I get disconnected from server, I’m disconnected forever pretty much until I restart the app and continue from saved progress. Yeah it’s possible that initial disconnection could be due to my wifi, but wifi shortly probably works while still being disconnected indefinitely.
Next time it disconnects, you can either try turning on and off airplane mode or the wifi widget and this will trigger the app to start reconnecting to the server. There is no need to restart the app.
