Mr. Jetstar’s Screenshot Portfolio: Part 3

Hey Guys, how have you all been? It’s been a while I know but that’s no excuse for today’s instalment of Part 3. I haven’t had the time to fly around the world - so apart from my totally unpatriotic opinion - I’ve just stuck to the most beautiful country on the planet - Australia!

Jetstar A320-232 (VH-VQB)

Jetstar JQ913 on the way to Sydney after a very warm departure from Townsville for something… less warm… Many of the passengers on this flight are heading to the big city for many things. Filed cruising altitude is 37,000ft and estimated flight time is about 2.5 hours.

Jetstar A320-232 (VH-VQB)

Jetstar JQ975 taxiing to Gate 19 at Adelaide Airport with the passengers and crew ready to call it a night after their flight from Perth. Meanwhile, in the background Air New Zealand NZ192 is rolling down the Runway 10 hours later than it was scheduled to… oops!? Filed cruising altitude was 37,000ft and flight time was approximately 2.5 hours.

Jetstar B787-8 (VH-VKA)

Jetstar JQ916 equipped with a Boeing 787 making a special visit to Townsville today on the busy flight from Melbourne. The Dreamliner touched down on Runway 1 a little after 1:30pm in the afternoon. Filed cruising altitude was 41,000ft and flight time was just 3 hours on the dot.

Qantas B737-800 (VH-VXM)

Early morning rise and shine for passengers and crew of Qantas QF605 being the first flight of the day to Melbourne for Qantas from Brisbane. Passengers are really having trouble picking a complementary breakfast item as there are too many good ones to choose from. Filed cruising altitude is 38,000ft and estimated flight time is 2.5 hours.

Qantas B737-800 (VH-VXM)

Qantas QF974 flying above a beautiful Moreton Bay on this afternoons service from Brisbane to Townsville. It shouldn’t be too long before the passengers will be on the ground soaking up the Sun, Sand and Sundae’s. Filed cruising altitude is 34,000ft and estimated flight time is around 1.5 hours.

Virgin Australia B737-800 (VH-VOL)

Virgin Australia VA1615 seconds from touchdown at Mildura Airport’s Runway 9 making the airport’s only daily flight from Virgin Australia. Today’s flight was a quick hop from City to Country with many passengers on board returning home. Filed cruising altitude was 32,000ft and flight time was approximately 1 hour.

Did you know? Mildura is a city located on Victoria’s North-West border located approximately 550km from Melbourne, and approximately 400km from Adelaide. With a population of around 50,998 (2016 Census) including the outer suburbs, Mildura is also known as the centre of Victoria’s Food Bowl and is a major producer of citrus fruits (especially oranges), and wine. It is also notable for its grape production, supplying 80% of Victoria’s grapes. Many wineries also source grapes from Mildura.

Virgin Australia B737-800 (VH-VOL)

Virgin Australia VA1646 rocketing out of Townsville Airport tonight with a moonlight departure. The flight from the Far North to the very bottom of Mainland Australia shouldn’t be a hassle with no turbulence predicted until upon entry of the state of Victoria. Filed cruising altitude is 39,000ft and estimated flight time is around 3 hours.

@Kacey I knew you and @LachyRobertson would like that shot. I wanted to check out the scenery so I can check out the similarities when I… (hint, hint) 😏

As for the little insight: just pure research. Got curious and when I saw the word “Wine” that got me excited.

I haven’t done Tigerair, I will one day. Just don’t feel right using an A319. I’d prefer an A320 or a B738. 🤗
