Moving From Big Tablet To Smaller

Hello all, question for the folks that reduced their screen size. My phone carrier is tempting me with a smaller tablet (new iPad mini) with unlimited data for a very fair price. This would require me to give up my 10.5 iPad Pro. How was the transition? Is it worth it or should I stick with the bigger screen?

Currently my iPad is WiFi only, with this new one I’d be able to fly on IF throughout the day as it would have unlimited data and I could take it with me anywhere, even work!

This is my debate, smaller screen and fly as much as I want or big screen and only fly after work and sometimes on the weekend.

I would personally get the new iPad. I have never played IF on a large screen, but iPad mini screen is good. I think it is worth being able to play anywhere and anytime you want.

iPad mini is perfect for infinite flight I love the size. I have a iPad mini 3 atm and it runs everything ok but the new iPad mini won’t have any problems running Infinite flight easy to carry around as well.

Thank you, sounds like the way to go. The convenience and the accessibility is an over all win. I was just curious as I haven’t flown on anything smaller than a regular iPad.

I fly on that exact Ipad and can personally tell you that its perfect as it’s about the size of a yoke

I personally play on an iPad Mini, it would be the same button layout as the larger iPad, and there isn’t much difference in flying in infinite flight with it at all.

I have always played on an Iphone. The only reason I’d ever want something bigger is for ATC purposes.

Currently using my iPhone 7 for infinite flight but if I do well in my GCSE’s my parents promised me an iPad Air

Hello @Johnny_Ringo Im in the same place as you, I have an Ipad Air 2 (which btw works perfect on Max settings) and I always thought on buying the Ipad mini 4 which is smaller or Ipad Pro 11 inch. Now, I’ve played IF for a long time and it was always on a large screen like this one. Personally I don’t know how is to play in a small screen but if you’re buying the Mini you can tell me! haha. It’s a struggle, you do get spoiled by that bigger screen but I also want to play more. So I’m at that cross roads of smaller screen play more or larger screen and play sporadically.

I completely understand you, I will always prefer the Big screen because Im actually in high school and I can’t fly during the week so its the same. but if I could fly in school (which i will never do) I would had chosen the mini.
