Mouse's flying chronicles

Heya lads!! I know I’m new here, but I’ll start this thread off to log my flights. I might not be regular at times (life things). I was in the training server, but now I have unlocked Expert and will fly in there (unless I get kicked out ofc). Hope y’all have some fun looking at my flights (and hopefully joining me, a bit later however though).

Here’s a myflightradar24 link that logs all of my flights from now on this thread:

Hey @Mouse_MD !

Firstly, doesn’t matter weather your new or have been in the community for a long time, we’re all the same here at the end of the day, and are here to support one another (in many ways, including replying to the community threads)

Secondly, I wish you all the best with the flights you complete, and hope you get to travel to breath taking destinations and get to experience all the beautiful hidden gems within Infinite Flight.

And now she’s cruising comfortably at FL330 for yet another red light flight.

Here’s the bird taking its final turn for runway 20R at Changi.

We made a butter landing, a mere 6kt crosswind.

And lo and behold, the first flight is concluded!!

Flight: 2 (CRASHED) :cross_mark:

London Heathrow Intl. → Ireland Shannon → New York JFK Intl.
EGLL - EINN - KJFK
Equipment: A318
Callsign: Speedbird 486CN Heavy
Server: Training

I decided to go from big bird to the baby bus. I attempt to simulate the BA1 & BA2 discontinued routes of 32 seater all premium configuration A318s. A quick hop to Shannon for refueling and off we head to JFK Intl.

A fast taxi to runway 27R and a direct clearance from center to FL380 and a steep climb made this a rather exhilerating start.

A very short cruise at FL380 indeed.

In the next 17mins, we land on runway 24 at Shannon for our refueling.

Flight plans are updated, fuel is filled, and Speedbird is back in the air with yet another steep climb off of runway 24, heading straight to JFK.

Yeah I crashed that aircraft

Get used to disappointment lads!

Flight: 2 (Again)

Hong Kong Intl. → Frankfurt Flughafen Main
VHHH - EDDF
Equipment: B748
Callsign: Silk West 486CN Heavy
Server: Training

This time, I decided to fly a freighter, and what better way to start off with the very Queen of the skies - the latest 747-8F. The flight had a turbulent start as we battled a fierce headwind off of runway 25L, but a gentle cruise to an initial FL280 was what followed.

The cruise at final FL380 was peaceful, and in sometime, we start our descent.

After 20mins, we prep for a left downwind approach to runway 07R.

A firm landing, and the 2nd (3rd:grinning_face:) flight is done:grin::grin:

Flight: 3

London Heathrow Intl. → Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat
EGLL - LEBL
Equipment: F22
Callsign: VT-CHN
Server: Training

I decided to switch things up - from a marathon to a sprint. This flight isn’t realistic in any manner; however, that’s the perk of a simulator - to simulate conditions.

A busy day at Heathrow as I was up 2nd holding short of runway 27R for takeoff.

After about 7 mins, I finally took to the skies. Initially, I maintained a modest 3000 fom climb rate. However, after no response from departure, and with how fuel and time was of the essence, I assessed my options. There were no flights ahead or in my path which would pose a danger to anyone. After clearing 5000ft, I cranked it up to a 12000fpm climb, truly enjoying manual flying this beast.

I slowly set it up for a supercruise, with a mach climb of 1.2mach, and levelled off at FL470 at 1.53 mach.

[Delayed post coz of workload]

About 20mins from the airport, I initiated the descent at 1.2 mach until FL330, post which I deployed 5° flaps (the F22 does not have air brakes) to slow down to 0.93 mach. A steep 3000fpm dive to right base of runway 24R and I made the final turn to line up with the runway.

I had to fly completely manually as the F22 model in-game, which is the legacy version, starts violently rollercoaster-ing below 180kts. Flaps full, gear down, and the flight is buttered.

If anyone has suggestions for any interesting routes that I can fly, please do let me know!!

Aye aye now there lads, I took some time off to grind some landings in casual (anyone who saw me flying that warthog like a maniac in the casual server around the Heathrow pattern, I am sorry you witnessed it, I am a diligent pilot at other times) and I have successfully reached Grade 3😀. I will stop posting in this thread as well, it will become a hassle even for me to keep track of it as it gets much longer. I will post more on my first flight in the Expert Server very soon as individual posts!

hello there amazing work man. also maybe move this to Live itll be better there too since there is alot of people doing the threads there
