Most scenic part of the Infinite Flight World?

In your opinion, what are the coolest parts of the global rendered in Infinite flight? Name up to 3.

Suppose geological landforms can be our only criteria since there’s no 3D cities as of yet.

and they have to be between 60 degrees North/South latitude lol

one other rule: the area shouldnt really be more than 70 square kilometers.
(on google earth, this is equiv to about a circle with radius = 150 km)

As of right now, along the coast north of Juneau, Alaska and under 60deg North really sticks out to me. Even with the limitations of the resolution, the peaks look rugged and tower over the nearby ocean.

In real life, Lukla airport is unreal, but its corresponding IF rendering is really poor imo, so thats why it isnt considered top for me.
^just give an example of the thought process; that is, cool in real life doesn’t necessarily mean cool in IF

The only area I like is the Alaskan region, the snow makes it more realistic because the ground textures are incredibly poor. So the Alaskan region looks more realistic coz it’s mostly white

good point about the whiteness. Now that I think about it, it’s the taller mountain ranges that look best.

The Himalayan region is also quite lovely.

Oh and so recently did a BLR - SYD flight, the Australian outback and Ayers Rock was quite a treat from FL400

Bahamas, and key west, and I know you said a small area, but the whole Caribbean is beautiful

I would suggest you few regions:

  1. Central Asia
  2. Himalayan Region
  3. Grand Canyon
  4. Some parts of Oman

Most of Alaska doesn’t have terrain unfortunately.

Yeah it really is sad anything above 60 degrees is completely flat in IF, Alaska, Norway, Canada, Russia to name a few. These Regions would look so much better if they weren’t Flat, someday i hope things will be different!

Check out northern Pakistan, OPSD. Has alot of snowy mountains and talls ones too.

I want to say if you use sim brief and go from KSEA-KSFO you will fly over the Rockies and its so pretty I will send a pic when I’m done with school for the day

Even excluding tall mountainous regions, there are probably thousands of places with fascinating textures.

This hardly scratches the surface of Southern Utah.
