Finishing a long haul and then realizing during final approach that the airport or runway hasn’t spawned in yet…

Only started using flaps half way through grade 2, before that, no flaps, no trim, 160kts+ landing speed, gears out only on short 2 mile final, go 259kts under FL100, go 349kts over FL100, go 30kts while taxiing, use 100% throttle on takeoff, bank to the point where the plane was vertical, climb 4600fpm at takeoff, pretend every flight has an emergency… how disappointing I was.

Was departing KJFK awhile back
Took off, got a little bit out, tuned to departure, checked in. No response. A few min later I got a vio for not responding, yet I had received not even a peep from ATC. Worst part was I couldn’t appeal since I couldn’t retrieve the replay file because I didn’t see the option to save it anywhere!
