Hi guys! I need your help. Can you guys/gals tell me some challenging airport approaches! Thanks!
SEQM, very montanious approach! also MHTG
There is a whole topic on this called fun approaches.
SCEL is always fun It’s very mountainous and at the bottom of a valley and it has regular airline service
I would definitely suggest the checkerboard approach for Kai Tak. I’ve had to try it multiple times in solo mode just to get the perfect landing.
Definitely LFLJ Courchevel in France!!
Circling Approach to Runway 08 in Innsbruck!
Its very challenging to do that approach in Innsbruck!
For sure Paro, it’s the hardest of them all, I don’t care what you say.
Can’t see anything it’s always night lol
A bit more easier if you can change the time to noon. But it’s till hard no matter what.
Whenever I changed it it was still night
Must be something wrong for you then. I’ll probably check in the morning when I wake up.
Queenstown, Kukes (LAKU), Mykonos, Ohrid, Poprad-Tatry, Sarajevo, Corfu, Gibraltar. Some aren’t extremely challenging but just fun!
I might suggest Hong Kong Kai Tak international airport
I love the landing in Queenstown ! It’s a bit challenging but really fun ! :)
Kai tak all the way
No one mentioned this, but OPSD. I went there on a CZVG group flight, and the mountains are real close to the start of those triangles! You also need to make a sharp turn because there are mountains on the side, aswell. P.s. it is Skardu International.
