Thanks, Ethan.
You mean PDX?
Oh so this was what you guys where talking about on my drawing competition thread… 😂
Anyways, both are stunning shots. Though I just love nose-front views so I went with Mortiz’s one.
Yeah and Moritz has like, what $3k in camera equipment?
I recon @Mattheus won the first round
Nope. Not at all.
I voted for Moritz. Overall his shot is much more fulfilling. He has good lighting, interesting composition, and it follows the rule of thirds. As opposed to yours which feels off center and somewhat darker, along with the wheels being pitch black. I have the wheels issue happen in my own pictures and I hate it so much, but its more down to lighting. Hopefully I will solve it one day.
Yeah. Wrong Portland.
@Moritz you can’t beat the MD-11
Wanna bet that?
Just a quick question @Mattheus where did you take that picture? BTW I voted for you
Sure do ur best
Hey @Moritz, how about you and me go one-on-one in the spotting competition of the century , huh? ;)
Now that sounds like a challenge 😁 I‘m in 🤷🏼♂️
To be honest, looking at your and Moritz’s photos I honestly can’t figure who’s better! A competition would do the job 😏
In all fairness these are two very different pictures. The head on shot will usually always win over a takeoff shot especially if it’s just a plain cargo aircraft with no exciting livery.
With a pretty overwhealming victory.
@Moritz has won!
Now on to round two. Ready? The category is… Normal Passenger Aircraft!

Nope. Not anymore >;)
