More CLT Spotting! [9/22/19]

Hello again

Im one month late back with another spotting expedition at my home airport. This time around I caught the airport using the north side (18) which gives you much different shots. I was somewhat ecstatic as I had been on a streak of not going when 18 was being used which gives some nice shots that 36 doesn’t offer. Got some pretty decent variety this time which is always great when you live in an AA forest. Also, the temperatures were not 90 degrees for once 😃

Equipment used this trip

We have a senior here. In terms of plane age.

That’s a DC10, not a MD11. You can tell because it has no wingtips and no middle gear.

Forgot to change that, looked the registration up and saw DC10. Just forgot to fix it. Fixed now tho :)

RIP my spotting adventures. When I go spotting at CLT, it’s 90 degrees, overcast, and all CRJ traffic. No different airlines or special liveries. RIP my spotting adventures.

On the contrary, these are amazing, love to see all that traffic on one runway way, especially at CLT. 👍🏻

Thank you!

That’s the strat. Get as many pics when the plane is crossing the Skyline

Timing my friend. If u go during the day, it’ll be boring. Afternoon, evening, and morning are the times to catch the good stuff.

Beautiful pictures… well done!

Nice shots! Great job on that pan.

Also if you can, f/8 will net sharper results on most lenses

Thank you sir!

As for a person who sucks at panning, I was pretty proud of that lol. Will try F/8 to see what it does
