Today at omdb in expert server this happened in a ATC active airport.
Sometimes this destroys our mood completely when we see this in expert server specially under ATC surveillance.
I think we need to filter the expert players more deep.
In all fairness, you can be much closer to the hold short line - allowing the A330 to pass without conflict.

I feel comfortable at this distance. I don’t wanna hold short at the tip of the line like lining up for 100 meter race.
Ah ok - gotcha! Yes the A330 should have stopped until it was OK to pass.
Unfortunately, we see a lot of this on the Expert Server now - and while you said you have ATC - sometimes they miss things - especially if they are just looking at the map - it’s hard to tell sometimes if there is an aircraft conflict.

Respectfully, I disagree. It is the pilots’ discretion to stop where they’d like—within reason—from any hold short line, assuming ATC does not request that the aircraft move up as far as possible.
For example, when I was holding short of Runway 22 at CDW, I did not feel comfortable completely approaching the hold short line as winds were gusting quite heavily from the east (meaning, in theory, a single, large gust could’ve pushed me over the hold bar had I been closer).
Of course, there is a significant difference between a C172 and an A321 and the level of wind required to shift a plane, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. There is also a difference between Infinite Flight and real life, but at no time does a pilot have an obligation to do something they do not feel comfortable with.
The same is true for driving, and theoretically any mode of transport. You are not obliged to park directly on a junction if you do not feel safe nor comfortable doing so. You can give yourself some breathing room.
It’s up to the person behind to ensure they pass in a safe manner. If the aircraft in front hasn’t moved far enough forward, the following aircraft has a responsibility to wait if they cannot pass safely.
Of course, if I was desperate to get the first reply on a topic, I probably wouldn’t think much about what I was typing either.
Could he? The shadow in IF always goes straight down, and the front of his shadow is not that far from the line. Considering the entire aircraft needs to be behind the line, his parking position is fine. That A330 is hitting his tail right on the outside of engine 1, do you really think that section of wingspan left over can fit between the front of the A321’s shadow and the hold short?
Always something moody happening at Dubai when it’s on the schedule.
i don’t agree. If you play on expert server you should be somewhat aware whats around you, and if you are going to check the map slow down so things like these don’t happen. Simple as that🤷🏼‍♂️ if you dont have enough experience to be on expert, dont be until you have enough to actually be here.
