Monarch are rumoured to be ceasing ops today

Monarch Airlines will cease operations – False Rumour – The World of Aviation.

Read my blog for regular updates and information. Although Monarch Aircraft are Flying today, two United 747s, a UA 767, Omni Air International 767 & 777 and an Air Transat A330 are being chartered by the CAA to rescue Passangers stuck in Monarch Destinations

Yeah hang on a minute guys, Monarch is NOT ceasing operations. It’s merely a rumour and Monarch personnel have come forward to say that they are “trading well”.

It has until tonight the renew it’s ATOL certificate. It didn’t receive a new one due to finances…

It’s looking to get a cash injection from a stake holder, Hainian Airlines have also expressed interest. It won’t go bust!

My dad is in flap station alpha. He’s booked with them and isn’t sure on an ATOL certificate.

They have a temporary certification for now but they haven’t received the cash injection promised in an official statement.

That isn’t . Just this Friday they recieved a funding and their flying license is extended! Plus their 737MAX order remains!
