I sort of like it when mods leave the closing notes (example above), and would like to make it a requirement. It could be something tiny, like “answered in thread” or something bigger, but just something, since it tells the OP why it’s been closed.

This will never be a strict requirement, but it is already encoraged. Feel free to PM a moderator and ask kindly why it was closed if they don’t leave one!
