Model Airport Design Feedback (WIP)

I’ve made many model airports, but this one has a new approach for me. I’m creating a large airport designed to be printed out on a large sheet of paper (cough my dad’s office ). It measures roughly 40x125 inches. Sorry for the debatable picture quality.

(The random letters show where various things will go. T=terminal, C=cargo, R=regional)

Let me know what you think, along with any suggestions, faults, etc. o7

Try using what we use for airport editing, the results turn out amazing ;)

Taxiways are a tad unrealistic.

Will you explain why they’re unrealistic, along with any ideas?

Good idea, but I’m unable to use it, sadly.

I suggest adding at least one more pair of exit points, and the angled exits shouldn’t really be that close.

I see what you mean. I think I’ll also try to make the corners more rounded as well. Thanks for the input!

This is the airport at the en of today, so far roughly 4.5-5 hours of work. Let’s see what y’all think…

~7 hours of work on Publisher put in now (not counting research/design time), and here is the result. Though nearing completion, a lot of work is still needed.

9.5 hours in, about 90% done. All that’s left are the gate numbers on the ground, then checking the entire airport over thoroughly. It should be done tomorrow…
(Let me know what you think about the runway lighting I’ve done)

That’s a good suggestion, maybe I’ll do that some day. For now, I’ll just stick with one, especially since it’s 40-120", which is plenty of room.
