Ye Olde Pub has officially been given its identity! I had a small heart attack when the big decal on the left side of the empennage refused to move, but I was able to move it after applying some water. Next comes the varnish layer and the main gear.

Landing gear has been glued onto the B-17F. I had a small accident, I broke the right gear’s support strut, so insults were aplenty. Seems like I applied more pressure than the part was able to take. I only realised I had broken it AFTER I glued it into the wheel well. Speaking of wheel wells, the attachment of the main gear to it needed the use of a flashlight to lighten it up. I applied a mix of spare sprues/plastic glue/superglue, which I hope will give the gear some strength.
I have an Airfix B-17G, and things seem easier on that kit, especially the main gear. It also has a better detailed instruction manual.
