Steeeeeeeeeeeeve (sentance
Finally! I can restart the build of my 21st Century Toys Macchi C.202. I got a replacement left top wing and glued it to the lower wing, then I grabbed the assembly and glued it to the fuselage. Further paiting will have to wait after my exams.
This is the best 1/400 airport apron mat display thing I’ve seen in this thread!
Funny enough it came with the virgin a350 I just got lol
good luck with exams because i know that sometimes they can sneak up on you like i have an essay due on monday and i have not started yet
Pic of the Macchi on its legs. The annoying thing with 21st Century Toys is that their kits are meant to be sort of played with, and thus the landing gear legs need to be trapped between the wings so they can go up and down. As such, this puts the legs at risk of breaking if you aren’t careful, and since I didn’t want them to retract, I fixed them in place.
Forgot to post this last year, but here is a Starlux Airlines exclusive. This is the Herpa Starlux Airlines A350 1:500 model. You can only purchase this onboard Starlux flights during their duty free hour. It also does come with its own stand.
Anyone know if the A380 or 1:400 A350 sold on Singapore airlines duty free is worth buying? Flying home tomorrow.
no idea (10 char)
Spent the whole night awake painting the entire Macchi, I think the poached eggs camouflage scheme came out pretty well. Today I’ll paint and add the wheels.
And with a final push, the Macchi Folgore of 21st Century Toys is complete! This is my fourth Italian WW2 aircraft, and I’m already eyeing the brand’s C.205 Veltro, not without the fear of getting another faulty kit with two equal wings.
Better pics hopefully later today.
ouch that’s rough. What happened?
Oh, nothing was wrong! It was a preorder.
OOOOHH that makes a lot more sense.
