There are a number of requests already like this except yours references a location. Many of these threads expose the difficulty in implementing something like custom elements. Quality, effort level for reviewing, abuse, etc. Just because someone can make a 2d livery in photoshop does not mean it will translate over to the 3d world very well. Yes there are qualified 3d artists out there but at the moment IF has their own artists on staff. This functionality may come well into the future but for now it is up to the staff.
While I was browsing the Features category, I noticed that there are quite a lot of livery requests. I don’t think that FDS would be able to handle half of them, because of the immense amount.

With all the chit chat about custom livery stuff, on here and IFFG specifically, I was trying to think of a possible temporary solution. We all now know that we can’t “submit” our liveries to have in game, etc… What if we have a “Plane Hanger” option. It’s like a place, where you can use a bunch of set colors like for the primary colors of the plane, the secondary colors, wing tips, tail, wheels, etc. we could mix n match colors in an attempt to make our own. I think a new update involving custom liveries would be brilliant, though I have been looking at some suggestions of it and the replies say that this would take away the realism aspect of Infinite Flight. I agree with this, and decided it would be cool if there were a server where you can make your own livery to fly with, but only on that server (for all other servers, you can’t fly planes with custom liveries) please get back to me with your ideas,

Hi,
I’d like to propose a request, that we should be able to customise aircraft to our liking, but only for solo, and maybe casual. This is so we could have fun putting F22 engines on 747s, and things like that. I know this blows realism out the window, but it would be fun. This could just be a basic interface that like said something like, “how much engine power do you want?”, and then it gives you a number to type in. It would be fun putting Cessna engines on 747.
