What’s up people. This is an April 1st feature request for mobile lounges at IAD. These are vehicles that carry passengers to aircraft and can adjust to their height. Would be cool with ground vehicles.

The mobile lounge is used at Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia and at Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Canada. The system was also used at Montreal Mirabel International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport’s International Terminal in New York City, Mexico City Airport until 2007, Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris before the 1990s and at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah until the early 2000s. - Wikipedia

I’ve seen these elsewhere but I’m pretty sure they’re most popular at IAD
I might have to vote for this just because of the A/C in the image…hmmm
When I stopped at IAD a few years back, I was on my way to TYS (Knoxville, TN) I had to change terminals, and we changed terminals with this mobile lounge. These are cool, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see them in the future!

It’s pretty rare now for a mobile lounge to disembark passengers straight from an aircraft. Nowadays it’s used to carry passengers from concourse to concourse.

IAD is my home airport and these are always dope to go in. It feels like you work on the tarmac when you ride on the mobile lounge.
