Earlier today me and a few other members in a PM noticed that post formatting in PMs has changed once again. Now, the mobile view and the desktop view look identical, with the bubble highlighting the text and the reply, like, flag, etc. buttons outside the bubble, instead of inside the old box.
I’m making this topic because I’m curious whether this is just a bug that both modes look identical, or if it’s a discourse update that caused it.
If this is an update, I don’t know why it was implemented because it makes the need for both modes completely redundant because they’re both the same. And quite frankly, it looks beyond ugly — and it’s not just me.
It was changed to make it easier to distinguish a topic from a personal message. They looked very similar. If you have any feedback head over to meta.discourse.org.
