WHAT IS THE MRJ?

The Mitsubishi Regional Jet (Japanese : 三菱リージョナルジェット), or MRJ for short, is a twin engine regional jet aircraft seating 70–90 passengers manufactured by Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, a partnership between majority owner Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and minority owner Toyota Motor Corporation, with design assistance from Subaru Corparation, itself already an aerospace manufacturer. The MRJ will be the first airliner designed and produced in Japan since the NAMC YS-11 of the 1960s, which was produced at a loss.

The first flight of the MRJ was in November 2015. After several delays, deliveries are now scheduled to start by mid-2020 with the launch customer ANA.

It has 2 variants,the 70 seat MRJ70,and the 90 seat MRJ90.

MY OPINION

Well in my opinion, this would be an amazing aircraft to have in Infinite Flight. It would bring a new maker in here, along with a new feel to the aircraft, when you get tired of flying aircraft such as the ERJ. I worked hard to put this thread together,as I really hope this aircraft will be added in the future!

If you, like me,want this aircraft in Infinite Flight, then click on that big blue vote button on the corner!

Nice request! Dont forget to vote for it!

#3

Of course I voted for it! Really want this in IF!

#4

Doesn’t it look too much like an E-jet?

#5

Looks weird

#6

looks good but it looks if it was based off of an ERJ

#7

Wow,we got 5 votes in just 24 hours! I really appreciate it everyone!

#8

I’m going to clear a vote just for this! Loooks like a wondeful new jet coming to the market!

(@Latvia doesn’t matter if they look the same, they’re still different, same with 787 and a350)

#9

Not to go off-topic, but the A350 is way better than the 787, as it just has better winglets😂😉😁

#10

I strongly dissagree!

#11

Proceeds to go off topic

Please take it to a PM, thank you!

I think the sim has a good showing already for the regional jets. We just had a major update to the Bombardier fleet and if anything were to be updated we should probably look at the Embraer’s first since they closely resemble the MRJ series. The developers could turn around a soft Embraer update quickly versus doing a completely new line.

A good pilot is always learning,

#13

It does. So it’s basically like adding another E-Jet into the IF fleet, but im not complaining.

#14

I bet some people would use it as an Ejet, because it’s newer and has better graphics
