I’m new. I’m a Watercolor Artist, Not Technically Gifted. So, What am I missing? I follow the “Bearing to Next” Via Heading, that gets me to the Airport. However, every time when I get within landing distance of Airport I’m never lined up with the runway. When the little red boxes show up they’re always to the right or left, so I end up having to try and make some crazy turn while descending. I’m never lined up to make a normal landing.

That’s the same with me, my autopilot always makes me a little off centre So I have to manually correct it, which doesn’t work 50% of the time so I’m always landing off centreline and coming in on a slight diagonal
Hi, winds blowing across your direction of travel will mean you have to be pointed at an angle different from the boxes to be able to fly through them.
While flying through them your nose is aimed a bit upwind.
Also if you are approaching with any method other than ILS, the heading will be naturally less accurate (you’ll be off to the side even without wind).

Thanks. Now I just have to figure out the ILS Stuff. I’ve read about it, watched videos. Like I mentioned not the most Technically Gifted person. I’ll just keep practicing and reading. Appreciate your help. That gives me a place to start.
