Missing Krueger flap on the 777 wing

Hey guys, I’ve been using the 777 a lot this days and I notice that the 777 wing has a little Krueger flap on the leading edge of the wing right between the engine, if it’s possible to add this missing part of the wing it would be more realistic.

Note: this feature is on every single 777 family

Does the Kruger flap vary depending on engine type? If not, must be noted!

This is similar to the flaperon, it wasn’t added, but you can make a #features request for it.

Is on every 777 regardless the engine type

Good spot dude, maybe request it in #features

Ah, thanks for the info! Needs to be fixed! (Along with the flaps, of course)

Guys, this is such a minor “defect” (not even sure if this subtle detail missing can be called that).

I understand that people want these models to be as exact as real life, but come on! I think we are over analyzing the up and coming models to much, to the point where even, say, a livery is painted even 2 or 3 windows over here or there, we are pointing it out. In my opinion, it’s not worth bringing up.

Simply enjoy the model and leave all those itty bitty pieces for the professionals! After all, if is a sim…

Whoa great catch! Never knew there is something called a krueger flap.

Well it’s best to point out missing pieces and bugs so the “professionals” (assuming devs) can fix this to be as close to real life as it can get. After all, this is a sim…

A flight simulator is a system that tries to replicate, or simulate, the experience of piloting an aircraft in the most accurate and realistic way possible

The more detailed and realistic the aircraft are, the more it is worth paying for, IF is a good simulator, in that you are right, but if these details are not detected and the plane is “half incomplete” it would actually be better to go to another simulator that actually has those details. And don’t get me wrong, the artists have done an incredible job, but if the simulator highlights “detailed planes” they have to be detailed.

Detailed aircraft doesn’t have to mean an exact copy and paste. It simply means the most updated and detailed aircraft the designers and devs can produce.

I don’t want to argue, as I really respect all your opinions, but I’m just putting my 2 cents out there as well. If you want to discuss it further, feel free to PM me. No hard feelings! 🙂
