Isn’t looking good for the other three crew. My condolences go out to the families of the crew members…

Yes thoughts are with the families :'( and I don’t think there is much hope for the rest of the crew :(

Yeah, it’s not likely they’d survive for 8+ hours in the North Atlantic. There’s a chance they won’t find the bodies aswell. But I guess it come with the job :|

I watched this just a couple days ago. A skydiving plane lost control over the ocean and one of the people survived after being in the ocean for over 24 hours.

Knew and met the crew onboard before. They came down to EISG often for refuelling or for training.
I seen the helicopter fly over my house last night at 0030Z and it was at 0045Z that the last transmission was made and consisted of “will be arriving in Blacksod shortly”

Sadly they never made it.

Cpt. Dara Fitzpatrick was taken to mayo general hospital but pronounced dead earlier today.

She leaves behind her husband, 3 y/o son and all the CHC family.

The search continues through the night as two vessels from the Irish NAVY circumnavigate the wreckage area.

They will be missed
