Missing ILS/GS/Localizers

#6

I committed fixes for KOAK, but I’m still not sure how to do KORD. My best guess is that runway 10 became either 10C OR 10L, and 28 became either 28C or 28R. Then they built another runway and IF doesn’t have any kind of navigation data for that new runway. I’m still learning all this so I’m not exactly sure or confident enough to add that data in (coordinates, GS/LOC placement, etc…). @carmalonso knows how to do this though.

I don’t understand… I fixed and committed most of these. Did TFFR or KENW not work or update properly? I can get around to KHIO and KSNA later today.

#10

Thanks for helping with this Sean, I’ll do the other ones when I get a chance…

#11

Just search for the old runway IDs in the file you submitted, they are still there, no?

#12

Not going to take 10+ different screenshots, but my file (which is directly connected with the GitHub application) has the updated runways. 07L for KENW, 12 for TFFR, and the 10’s and 28’s for KFLL. Only airports I haven’t done yet (but will attempt soon) are KHIO and KSNA.

The only airports from the list you mentioned that are still unfixed should only be KSNA, KHIO, and KORD.

#13

Okay, I know why… same issue as with the fix.dat, the content is repeated twice!

@carmalonso can you look into what’s going on?

#14

I’ll do this later I guess? Let me know when the duplicate issue is resolved :)

#15

I’ll clear the duplicates later. My fault, I merged the files we had with X-Plane ones when we lost fixes and nav stuff, but obviously my bash commands didn’t clear all duplicates… sorry about this

@Swang007 @matt…was flying in YSCB(Canberra Airport)…was on final for rnwy 35 and i noticed that maybe the ILS is not aligned. When using HUDS…you see yourself lined up properly and the rectangular boxes have you dead centre, also the localizer tells you that you’re on centreline…however, the small window in the left,it shows you left of centre…just saying

#17

But you aren’t exactly. You are slightly below and to the right of the red boxes, just as the localizer and glidescope says.

#18

well maybe…but the localizer says i’m pretty much on it…but the small box to the left is different…the gap seems too wide…oh well

#19

Oh I see what you mean. You’re too far tho the right but too far to the left on the map right? I’ll add this to the list

#20

ILS is missing for TNCM as well. GPS only.

#21

There is no ILS for runway 10 at TCNM in real life so it’s not missing on IF.

#22

Ok. Thanks. Didn’t know.

#23

Is there a list of aircrafts that are equiped with ILS abilities? I tried the 717, e190, and 737 with no luck at KSAN rwy 27. Also didnt work on KORD but as I read above it hasnt been fully updated due to real world updates.

#24

The 737 BBJ and A320 family are equipped with APPR.

#25

Thats a small amount compared to all aircrafts in fleet :/ thanks for the info
