Its my first few times using AP+. i noticed everytime i use it, after ending the flight, flight time is always cut short. For example. I just finished a 3 hour flight, it says my flight was 2 hours and the replays are missing parts of the flight. For my last flight, the whole take off with climb to Cruise alt is missing.
It also mentions different start airports than my actual spawn in and start airport. Happened a few times now.
Device: iPhone 16 Pro Max Operating system: 26.2.1
I tried the beta version, but the issue remains. No website can detect my location. For example, this flight is supposed to take 3 hours, yet only 1 hour gets counted when the session ends.
Are you seeing AP+ marked as active and enabled before you exit?
Looking at your flights, there’s just a lot of “Disconnects”. No indication of sessions being handed over to AP+.
AP+ is active when I start the flight, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to jump directly to the destination. But I still get frequent disconnects, and only part of my total flight time gets counted. Also, no websites can detect my location.
I do use a network accelerator, but I have also tested completely turning it off. Even under normal network without any accelerator or VPN, I still cannot get my location detected, and my AP+ flight time is still not counted correctly with frequent disconnects.
I started a new flight without any accelerator or VPN enabled. I have confirmed that AP+ is turned on inside the game, but my location still cannot be detected, and flight time still fails to count properly.
Yes, I understand the symptoms are the same.
But the circumstances are not.
Don’t get me wrong here - but if you’re seeing things on 3rd party trackers isn’t relevant here.
I’m only interested in what’s happening in Infinite Flight.
@IF-EGYPT_YT - I can see you haven’t tried on 26.4 yet, so please do when you’re able and report back
@XCDH - when you’re leaving the flight, what do you see in the app? And are you located in Mainland China behind the GFW?
Yeah I’ve been working on it.
This is a connection issue that can’t easily be solved.
Working on a few workarounds but the root cause is basically;
Your connection towards our server infrastructure is too unstable, so the signal for AP+ to takeover is never received server side..
What I’m working on now, may help AP+ be a bit more forgiving.
