Hello there. So earlier when I was on approach to my destination and contacting ATC, I saw the ‘go around’ and ‘missed approach’ commands. I always knew about them and even used them sometimes, but just now did the question dawn on me. When would I use ‘missed approach’ or ‘go around’? What’s the difference between them two?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but you should use missed approach when you think you won’t make the landing, and use Go Around when you failed a landing.

Missed approach is when you can’t get the landing and your still on the GPS/ILS. Go Around is when yours close to landing but some reason you need to go around.
