Hello IFC welcome back to another spotting topic at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. This past month I have been fortunate enough to acquire a new and updated camera to go planespotting with, a brand new Nikon D5600 from Best Buy! So far, this camera is much better than my old D5100 and it has taken consistently better shots than the D5100.
First up, here is a one of a kind Boeing 757. This is Iceland Air’s “Flag” (Yep, that is the name of the special livery) that was painted in this livery for the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia. This a Boeing 757-3E7(WL) (TF-ISX).
Here is a smokey landing with one of American’s A321-231s! (N919US)
Here is an interesting catch, N611BA, a Fairchild SA227-AC operated by Bemidji Aviation Services.
Next up is this Sun Country 737-7Q8 that looks like it has gotten its wings clipped. (N713SY)
Here is another aircraft owned by Bemidji Aviation Services, a Beech 65-A80 taxing to its parking on cargo row. They operate package and commuter services through rural Minnesota and also own the FBO at Bemidji Airport. (N55SA)
Here is N803NW, a Delta A330-323 racing down runway 12R on its way to Amsterdam.
Here is a slightly more artistic shot, a Delta A320 passes in front of the lens with addition aircraft perpendicular to it. (No registration caught sadly)
Here is a new & modern Spirit A320-271NEO taxing to the runway with a nice beacon shot . (N910NK)
And my last catch of the day, a magnificent and elegant Boeing 787-9 taxing to runway 12R for its departure to Pair Charles de Gaulle Airport. (F-HRBC)
Goodbye Air France! Fun fact: Air France is one of the only 2 airlines to operate a 787 to MSP, the other being KLM.
