Mini Summer Vacation 2024 Trip to Atlanta, Los Angeles and Miami - Return Pt1: Miami to St. Louis

Hello folks, itโ€™s the time that I flew back to St. Louis on Sunday. I really had a wonderful time in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale as I went plane spotting. Plus, had a great time at the movies in Miami and also, seeing Grandma and Aunty Sisi. So in this first part, Iโ€™ll be posting the shots of Southwest Airlines Flight 3803 going from Miami to Dallas Love Field ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ. So I hope you enjoy these shots regarding this first leg.

First Flight: Southwest Airlines Flight 3803 - Miami to Dallas Love Field ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
Aircraft: Boeing 737-800
Origin: Miami International Airport (KMIA)
Destination: Dallas Love Field Airport (KDAL)
Flight Time: 3hrs
Server: Expert

Alrighty, so I packed up my suitcase ๐Ÿงณ and left the hotel ๐Ÿจ, heading to Ft. Lauderdale. I stopped by that pizzeria place ๐Ÿ• by E Las Olas to eat some pizza. After eating pizza, I went over to Ft. Lauderdale beach and watched the remaining of the Florida Panthers Parade after they won the Stanley Cup. After that, I drove around a little before heading off to MIA airport to return the car ๐Ÿš—. After that, I took the MIA Peopleโ€™s mover to the terminal and went in the Central Terminal MIA airport to check in and getting my boarding pass. After that, went through security and here I am at Gate G9 MIA airport, getting ready to board my flight to Dallas Love Field ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ.

After boarding the aircraft, we pushed back out of Gate G9, and started taxiing to RWY 8R for takeoff out of MIA airport. Here is the Cargo Terminal and the MIA Tower on the left that we taxied past.

Then upon preparation for takeoff, we hopped on RWY 8R, lined up and begun our takeoff roll. Look at that AA B757-200 in the background. That AA B757-200 was retired. And this pilot is literally flying that AA B757 from MIA-LGA lol ๐Ÿ˜‚. Like literally, but okay. Enjoy your flight to LGA on that AA B757-200. But anyways, weโ€™re about to takeoff out of MIA.

And off we go as we lifted off RWY 8R. Goodbye ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ 305 Miami ๐Ÿ‘‹ . Weโ€™ll c ya next time. What a great time I had in Miami

After we took off, we banked to our left, flying next to the coastline and then banked left again, flying past FLL airport and now, hereโ€™s the view of MIA airport and FLL airport you see in the distance. Anyways, we are flying west before we entered the Gulf of Mexico ๐ŸŒŠ

And then we leveled off at FL360, flying over the Gulf of Mexico ๐ŸŒŠ. While cruising, the Southwest Airlines started serving Snack Mix with a choice of beverages. So I got Snack Mix and a cup of Sprite ๐Ÿฅค while I was listening to Wara Gaspi music ๐ŸŽถ ๐Ÿ“ฑ ๐ŸŽง . After my snack, the flight attendants collected trash ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ and then chewed on bubble gum for the remainder of the flight before we began our descent onto Dallas Love Field

Here we are on our descent phase, on preparation for landing aiming for RWY 13L DAL airport. At this time, all electronics are put away, tray tables are stowed, window shades are opened, and seat in the upright position, and most importantly seat belts are to be fastened.

Here we are on short final RWY 13L DAL airport before we touch down

And we just landed in Dallas Love Field. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Dallas Love Field as we vacated the runway, and taxied to Gate 17 for our arrival.

And we are here at Gate 17 at DAL airport. Unfortunately, there are no 3D buildings at DAL airport. So we got off the aircraft via the steps and then this is gate that I will be departing from, heading to the ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ314 St. Louis. So, I was thinking of Dallas Love Field International Airport, but thereโ€™s no International Airport in Dallas Love Field because thereโ€™s no international flights. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is the airport that serves international flights in and out of Dallas. But anyways, welcome to Dallas ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

And that completes the first leg. I hope you enjoyed it. And stay tune for SWA Flight 3817 DAL-STL that will be posted tomorrow. So be safe and have a blessed day. C ya in the skies.
