Hello folks, welcome to Part 2 of this return trip. In this part, the second leg is from Southwest Airlines Flight 3817 from Dallas Love Field to St. Louis 🇺🇸. So, I had a short layover when I arrived at DAL. Luckily, boarded and departed from the same gate which saves me time from heading to another game which causes me to miss the flight. I hope you enjoy the shots.

Alrighty folks, at Gate 17 DAL airport, the same gate that I arrived at, about to get on the plane using the steps instead of going through the jetbridge due to lack of 3D buildings. Welcome aboard Southwest Airlines Flight 3817 service to St. Louis 🇺🇸. Let’s get this flight started
Pushed back from Gate 17, started up its engines and now taxiing to RWY 13R for takeoff out of DAL airport
Getting near the beginning of RWY 13R, the captain 👩✈️ went, “Flight Attendants, prepare for takeoff” before we entered and lined up RWY 13R before our takeoff roll
And off we go heading to the 🇺🇸314 St. Louis, we took off RWY 13R out of DAL airport.
Banking left after we took off from DAL airport, heading north, on our way to the STL
As we leveled off at FL350, the flight attendants started serving Brittle Brownies and Snack Mix, plus choice of beverages. So I got Brittle Brownies, Snack Mix and a cup of Sprite once again 🥤while I was listening to Wara Gaspi 🎶🎧📱, cruising over Oklahoma🇺🇸 before we entered Arkansas 🇺🇸, then Missouri before we began our descent
Here we are on our descent phase, as we were about to enter left downwind RWY 30R, which is what we were aiming for, as you can see STL airport, flying over the Missouri River. As we prepare for landing, at this time, electronic devices are to be put away, tray tables are to be up, seat back are in the upright position, personal items are put underneath the seat in front of us, and seat belts are to be fastened until we landed and arrived.
And here we are on short final RWY 30R STL airport before touching down on the runway
After we landed in STL, we exited the runway, here we are as we were crossing RWY 30L, before we taxied to Gate E33 for our arrival. Welcome home to the 🇺🇸314 St. Louis folks.
And we have arrived back to St. Louis Gate E33 Terminal 2. Hello St. Louis. Time to get my belongings, exit the aircraft, proceed to baggage claim 🛄 , call Uncle Aniebiet and have him pick me up from the airport, take me home and go straight to bed 🛌 since I arrived late at night. What a great flight I had.
And that completes the Mini Summer 2024 Vacation Trip to Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Miami. I hope you have enjoyed all my trip reports and plane spotting series. I enjoyed Miami the most, since I’m in love of South Florida, especially me driving around Miami, exploring the schools that I went to. And also, going plane spotting in Ft. Lauderdale, and then that beach to watch the parade. I enjoyed Los Angeles too, especially that Hollywood sign, that I snapped a photo of. I also drove past that Boy Meets World House in Los Angeles. And then Atlanta, when I enjoyed driving around DeKalb, and Fulton County to bring back memories of the places that my mom and I used to live at, and the schools that I went to, plus Gwinnett County such as Norcross High School that Aunty Nsikan used to work at. Anyways, I’ll be traveling again soon. So have a blessed day and be safe, see you in the skies.
