Hello folks, welcome to my mini summer 2024 vacation as I travel from St. Louis to three most famous cities which includes the ๐๐บ๐ธ404 Atlanta, Los Angeles which is in Hollywood ๐ด๐บ๐ธ California and the city which @NonStopsAviation knows what Iโm talkinโ about the ๐๐ด๐บ๐ธ 305 Miami aka the Vice City. These trips consists of Delta Airlines from St. Louis to Atlanta which I flew today June 7 on a Friday, in which it will last a week before heading to Los Angeles on United Airlines via Chicago OโHare, spending a week there before heading off to Miami on American Airlines, then back to St. Louis via Denver on Southwest Airlines. So in this first part of this outbound was Delta Airlines Flight 1536 going from St. Louis to Atlanta. I hope you enjoy these shots.
Delta Airlines Flight 1536: St. Louis to Atlanta ๐บ๐ธ
Aircraft: Boeing 737-900
Origin: St. Louis Lambert Intโl Airport (KSTL)
Destination: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Intโl Airport (KATL)
Flight Time: 1hr 40mins
Server: Expert
This morning, Uncle Aniebiet dropped me off at the airport for me to check in, get my boarding pass and head through security and here I am at Gate A10 STL airport before I started boarding the plane down to Atlanta. I forgot to buy snacks and gum to snack on the plane. But anyways, welcome aboard Delta Airlines Flight 1536 service to Atlanta ๐๐บ๐ธ
Taxiing to RWY 29 after the Delta Airlines safety video was played
About to line up RWY 29 before we takeoff out of STL airport
And off we go we took off out of STL airport, off to ATL ๐๐บ๐ธ. C ya later St. Louis
Banking to our left prior to flying over the Mississippi River as always as we fly southeast down to Atlanta
Cruising over the Tennessee Airspace, northwest of BNA airport as always, as we were en route to Atlanta at FL310 and were served Biscoff Cookies ๐ช and a choice of beverage in which I chose Apple Juice ๐ง since it was a morning flight. And that wasnโt enough snacks to eat since I forgot to buy snacks to snack on. But oh well, at least I ate my Biscoff Cookies
Fast forward from cruising going to our descent and approach to ATL airport as we banked left to fly right downwind aiming for RWY 26R for landing
And another unexpectancy occurred. We had to go around since we were too high. This is due to the fact that the pilot forgot to turn on APPR mode when it was less than 8 NM away from the airport. Donโt see how the pilot would forget to turn on the APPR mode once the aircraft leveled off at the pattern altitude which was 1,000 FT since the airport elevation is 1,026 ft. On our second attempt weโre finally on short final RWY 26R before touch down Atlanta
After we just landed in Atlanta, we crossed RWY 26L before taxiing to Gate B12 for our arrival at ATL airport. Welcome to the ๐๐บ๐ธ 404 Atlanta
And Iโve just arrived to ATL. So, time for me to get my belongings and exit the plane, take a shot of my plane that I was on at Gate B12 at ATL airport before heading to baggage claim ๐ before having to catch the ATL skytrain to the rental car ๐ area to rent a car and head to REVERB Downtown Atlanta
And that completes my trip from St. Louis to Atlanta and once again, I will be traveling to Los Angeles via Chicago OโHare on United Airlines since Iโve never in my life flown United Airlines into or out of Atlanta. So this will be my very first time flying out of Atlanta on United Airlines. But anyways, I hope you enjoyed this flight. Stay tuned for United Airlines flight to Los Angeles via Chicago Oโ Hare from Atlanta and have a blessed night.
