Power outage at Miami tower caused radar services to be terminated for all aircraft until center took over to help.

OMG that would be a nightmare. We don’t get any power outages here anyways. Also, they probably have backup generators.

This happened around 11AM and 12PM est and KMIA, KFLL and satellite airports were effected. Didnt seem to be a huge problem though. And theres an investigation underway to see why this happened or who caused it because this is apparently an “uninterruptible” system.

If happened on Training server on KLAX!!!
If it happened in Dallas! All American flights would be affected.
“if it happened at…”… Really guys? Miami is a pretty busy airport too and this affected many flights.
