Max's Primary Trainer: ERCO Ercoup-415C

ERCO Ercoupe-415C

MaxSez: This genial beauty is still flying after rebuilds. My second primary trainer, a step up. (Coupled ailerons/rudders plus tricycle gear). (The first was a tail dragger an Aeronca Champ. (The Super D is an aerobatic, big wing, Modification of the Champ). This 4 banger reciprocator belongs in the IF inventory as a Fledgling primary trainer with panache!

Love these things. The coupling of the rudder is a super cool idea. It made it “spin proof”
Edit: spin proof in ideal circumstances and according to the manufacturer
